Bishop Hartley High School is a four-year, comprehensive, Diocesan Roman Catholic high school for young men and women. It opened in 1957, is located in East Columbus and serves the East, South, and Southeast areas of Central Ohio. Hartley was founded and operates on the principal of educating the entire person: body, mind and spirit. Our mission statement speaks to this philosophy: our mission is to provide a quality Catholic education emphasizing Christ's teaching in all phases of the educational process and to empower each student to mature spiritually, morally, intellectually, physically and socially. We believe that our foundation rests on six critical pillars of character: Faith, Preparation, Community, Service, Spirit, and Leadership.
