St. Rose of Lima, Roman Catholic Church in Newtown CT: The first Catholic Mass in Fairfield County was celebrated in Newtown in 1781 and since her founding in 1859, Saint Rose Church has been the spiritual center for the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for our area communities.
