The Quant Group is a team of enthusiastic individuals passionate about algorithmic trading, keen to share and expand our ideas as we continuously develop our understanding of quantitative finance. We represent a diverse mix of individuals from around the world representing more than 10 nationalities, across four continents and speaking over 8 languages. Our team was founded by bringing together seasoned investing experience and academic excellence. With entry opportunities directly out of undergrad into the hedge fund industry scarce, we started this group in order to offer early insight into the field of algo-trading through our educational talks series, given by both students and visiting speakers, and our weekly group meetings. We aim to develop successful algorithmic trading models through our collaborative conceptualization sessions, integrating our interdisciplinary innovations with strong interpersonal synergy.
