Known affectionately within the industry as the Godfather of hairdressing, Trevor launched his flagship salon in London's Covent Garden in 1979, having already made a name for himself within the industry as "â€¦a combination of original thinking with superb technical ability" (Vidal Sassoon). In the years that have passed since then, Trevor has opened a further four hair salons, and hair academies in London and Shanghai. His other achievements include owning a successful hair product range, founding the charity mynewhair, numerous industry awards and TV appearances, and being the first hairdresser to receive an M.B.E from Her Majesty the Queen! Trevor still firmly believes in his core philosophies of "real hair, for real people" and "taking the ordinary and making it extraordinary".
