Chinook, encompassing an area of 42 750 square kilometres, is the second largest school division in the province. Situated in beautiful Southwestern Saskatchewan, its geographical boundaries begin 80 kilometres east of Swift Current and include the United States border to the south, the Alberta border to the west and the Saskatchewan River to the north. Chinook's demographics include a student enrollment of 6300 and 1125 employees. There are 37 public schools in Chinook and 25 Hutterian schools. The central office for Chinook is located in Swift Current and there are regional service centres in Shaunavon and Maple Creek.
