The Model United Nations Association ISM Germany is a student-run, non-profit society at the International School of Management (ISM). We are dedicated to help our students attend different Model UNs across the globe, with the highlight being the National Model United Nations (NMUN) at the UN Headquarters in New York City, which invites more than 5,000 college/university delegates, half from outside the United States each spring to discuss current global issues on twenty selected committees. Founded by ISM students from different campuses all over Germany in October 2012, we were able to send our first delegation of eleven to the NMUN in New York in March of 2013, representing Nepal in seven committees. Every year since the founding of the organization 2012, we have been present at the UN HQ in New York to represent the our university and our student union. With it, we, and the International School of Management were able to join the ranks of prestigious schools, such as Harvard, Oxford, Yale or Stanford, who have all been sending delegations to various MUNs for years. Gaining invaluable experience, connections and a passion for UN simulations, we are committed to continue our success and strive to improve at future conferences.
