Parkinson Voice Project is a non-profit organization based in Richardson, Texas dedicated to preserving the voices of individuals with Parkinson's and related neurological disorders through intensive speech therapy, follow-up support, research, education, and community awareness. Using our unique two-part therapy approach, SPEAK OUT!® and The LOUD Crowd®, we are regaining and maintaining the voices of individuals with Parkinson's disease through intensive individual therapy and regular maintenance therapy. From our clinic, we conduct 2,500 individual sessions and 600 group sessions annually. First described by Dr. Daniel R. Boone, we encourage our patient's to bypass the disordered area of their brains by speaking with intent, and encourage patients to extend this intent throughout their lives, cultivating a life of vitality and purpose. Our mission is fueled by our Pay it Forward business model, through which we are able to finance our therapy using the generosity of our patients and donors. Rather than charging for therapy, we allow our patient's to give freely, encouraging them to provide therapy for a future patient. Our vision is to enable each individual with Parkinson's disease to access a strong voice and intentional lifestyle by training therapists globally in our program. We are proud to have trained nearly 400 therapists through both in-person and online workshops, and celebrate our continuous growth and the victories of patients around the world. Moreover, we are excited to be launching a grant program to further the replication of our program. Through our unique therapy approach and generosity-driven business model, it is our deep joy to serve individuals with Parkinson's disease and to change lives daily.
