Our History The Academy was founded in 2005 by Rick Anderson. Rick is a Firearm Defense & Incident Response Trainer and NRA Chief Range Safety Officer through the NRA and has completed several additional Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor and Special Operations courses taught by some of the best training schools in the world to include ITI (International Training Inc.), Response Options, CQB Inc. and Team Spartan to name a few. Rick also served in law enforcement in Texas in the 1980's and as a Bail Enforcement Agent in the 1990's operating on both sides of the U.S./Mexico border. Training Saves Lives! We offer a variety of custom defense training for civilians, law enforcement, contract operators and military units on request.
