Opened in 1995, Chelsea Piers transformed four historic, long-neglected piers into a major center for public recreation and waterfront access. Annual visitation is approximately 4.1 million. Situated on Piers 59 through 62 and in the headhouse that connects them, the complex features: The Golf Club, The Sports Center health club, Sky Rink, The Field House, 300 New York bowling, the Paul Labrecque Salon & Spa, The Lighthouse and Pier Sixty Event Centers and The Marina at Chelsea Piers. The Golf Club at Chelsea Piers, Manhattan's only multi-tiered, year-round, outdoor golf driving range and teaching academy, allows golfers to hit full shots, practice putting and take lessons from top pros.
