Our History In October 2016 Euro Garages and EFR Group have joined forces to become a European leader in the petrol forecourt and convenience retail sector. in September 2017 both companies changed their name into EG Group. Based in Blackburn (UK), Euro Garages was founded in 2001 by brothers Mohsin and Zuber Issa with the acquisition of a single petrol filling station in Bury, Greater Manchester. Since then, Euro Garages has established itself as one of the UK's fastest growing and most recognizable forecourt operators, with an expanding portfolio of more than 340 freehold-owned sites located throughout mainland UK. In August 2014 funds managed by TDR Capital LLP took over Delek Europe. Shortly after this acquisition Delek Europe changed her name into EFR Group.
