The California Institute for Biomedical Research (Calibr) is an independent, not-for-profit organization established to accelerate the translation of basic biomedical research to innovative new medicines. This infrastructure, combined with Calibr's drug discovery expertise, enables projects rooted in novel therapeutic mechanisms to progress from the laboratory through preclinical development and ultimately to the clinic through commercial, federal or foundation partnerships.
