Cruse Bereavement Care exists to promote the well-being of bereaved people and to enable anyone bereaved by death to understand their grief and cope with their loss. Services are free to bereaved people. The charity provides support and offers information, advice, education and training services. Cruse bereavement Care currently have a number of projects underway such as the Facing the Future partnership with Samaritans to support those bereaved by suicide, the Adfam partnership to support those bereaved through drugs and alcohol and the Early Intervention Project which offers services to individuals identified as being at risk of complicated grief. Cruse offers a variety of training courses and packages to individuals and companies and organisations such as the one day Bereavement and Awareness training course and the Bereavement in the Workplace course. There is also a variation of internal training for bereavement Volunteers.
