The Office of the Assembly is the administrative arm of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. Our mandate is to provide non-partisan support services to all Members of Provincial Parliament. There are currently 107 Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs) representing the 107 electoral districts from across the province. The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly is responsible for both policy and operations of the Legislative Precinct. The Clerk of the Legislative Assembly is the chief permanent officer of the Legislative Assembly. The Legislative Assembly of Ontario employs a group of diverse individuals with a range of skills and qualifications to suit a multitude of positions. We recruit those who have an interest in parliamentary institutions, history and procedure in a non-partisan capacity and a strong desire to work in the public sector and whose own personal mission statement and values complement ours: Mission Statement: Relentless in the pursuit of impartial, innovative and collaborative support to Ontario's parliament.
