The Department of Banking and Finance (DBF) at the University of Zurich (founded in 1969 as Swiss Banking Institute) has a broad expertise in its four core areas of Banking, Corporate Finance, Financial Economics and Quantitative Finance. We foster interdisciplinary in research and teaching. The DBF provides a knowledge transfer at the highest level and as such has also designed an executive teaching program that caters to the needs of finance professionals. With 20 professors and more than 130 employees, the DBF is a leading finance group in the German-speaking part of Europe.
