Best mates Don and Martyn met at University in their native Scotland. Bored of their jobs as corporate lawyers in the City they stumbled across the concept of frozen yogurt in New York while craving a healthy, refreshing snack. They came home with a big idea, and set out on a quest across countless farms in the UK to source a fresh product made with real yogurt, unlike the rehydrated powder mixes from a packet that were being used in the US. Meaning 'from' in old Scots, FRAE is firstly a subtle, playful reference to the origin of the founders but more specifically a direct, serious reference to the impeccable sourcing of the dairy ingredients used in the product and how much the founders care about where those ingredients come from.
