The newly established Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences was founded on May 1, 2009 and stands with its concept for an innovative, interdisciplinary and international education of young people. The Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences offers altogether 25 Bachelor and 4 Master degree programmes at its Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort locations at four faculties â€“"Technology and Bionics", "Life Sciences", "Society and Economy" and "Communication and Environment". The contents of study at the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences are scientifically, practically and internationally oriented. The study programs at Rhine-Waal University are designed to be scientific, application-oriented and international. The programs are also characterized by high quality and its practical relevance in teaching and research. About 75 per cent of the courses of study are taught in English and in the meantime students from 84 different nations feel comfortable at the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. Thus students are opened up to intercultural exchange and an ideal preparation for the national and international job market.
