There is a huge influx of individuals relocating to Los Angeles, CA from all corners of the world in a quest to pursue their own personal goals and aspirations; however, a majority of these individuals lose their sense of "hometown community" throughout this transition and are forced to regain some sense of community â€“ community in a city that is oftentimes presumed to be massive and daunting. Out of this concept arose the idea for Yoo-N-LA magazine. Yoo-N-LA is a magazine for individuals around the ages of 18-30 years old, that are looking to get connected with like-minded people and events within the city of Los Angeles, CA for communal and/or networking gain â€“ in particular, individuals that strive to be active in their community and seek ways to help others, while simultaneously pursuing personal dreams and aspirations of their own.
