The Foreigners Advisory Council - or - 'KAV' (Kommunale Ausländer- und Ausländerinnenvertretung der Stadt Frankfurt ) is the elected representation of foreigners in the city of Frankfurt, Germany. The KAV consists of multiple factions that have the common goal of improving Integration. The KAV understands 'Integration' as an equal participation in the communal life while respecting the individual cultural identity, as well as developing new cultural commonalities. Die KAV ist die Kommunale Ausländer- und Ausländerinnenvertretung Frankfurt am Main. Die KAV besteht aus mehreren Listen, doch ihr gemeinsames Ziel ist die Integration.Unter „Integration" versteht die KAV: Eine innerhalb der Werte und Normen des Grundgesetzes stattfindende gleichberechtigte Beteiligung am gesellschaftlichen Leben unter Bewahrung der eigenen kulturellen Identität, aber auch die Entwicklung von neuen kulturellen Gemeinsamkeiten.
