A key determinant of Hadley's success is the internationally patented UltraSTEELÂ® process that has won the Queen's Award for Enterprise Innovation. A process that has revolutionised the production of steel section components used primarily in the construction industry throughout the world. The worldwide potential of UltraSTEELÂ® is huge as the process essentially increases the capacity of steel by up to 12%, and as such weighs 12% lighter than conventional steel, increasing fire resistance, improving acoustic entrapment and reducing manufacturing costs. This major technical breakthrough can be developed for use on virtually any light gauge, cold roll formed section or product. Applications to date include vineyard support posts for use in some of the worlds most prestigious vineyards to steel profiles In UAE and Thailand, dedicated UltraSTEELÂ® lines produce millions of linear metres of section for the burgeoning construction industry throughout the Gulf States and South East Asia. Across Europe, North America and Asia an increasing volume of UltraSTEELÂ® products are produced by license holders.
