WHAT IS PROTÃ‰GÃ‰? The Schulich ProtÃ©gÃ© Program (SPP) is a mentorship program specifically for the undergraduate community at the Schulich School of Business, York University. Our vision is to shape students into ethical leaders by developing students academically, socially and professionally. Established in 2009, our program matches incoming first year students with an upper year mentor in order to ease the transitional period between high school and university. We develop our members through the ProtÃ©gÃ© Mentorship Curriculum which consists of three levels of engagement: Peer-to-Peer, Small Network and Community Network. Peer-to-Peer refers to strategic moves made to initiate and foster the 1-on-1 relationship between a mentor and a mentee. Small Network engagement is initiated by Head Mentors and the ProtÃ©gÃ© executive team to foster network building in smaller groups. Community Network engagement is the creation of organization wide events, that give our members the opportunity to be part of what is the entirety of the ProtÃ©gÃ© network. ASPIRE TO INSPIRE.
