The Canadian Partnership Against Cancer is an independent organization funded by the federal government to accelerate action on cancer control for all Canadians. We partner with cancer experts, governments, cancer agencies, national health organizations, charitable organizations, patients, survivors and others across the country to achieve three simple, clear Canada-wide goals: - Reduce the incidence of cancer - Lessen the likelihood of Canadians dying from cancer and - Enhance the quality of life of those living with cancer. The Canadian Partnership Against Cancer's model is a unique approach to addressing cancer, co-operating and collaborating across jurisdictions and organizations to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of cancer control efforts across the continuum. Our work spans the cancer control continuum, from prevention and screening to research and supportive care. We strive to stay mindful of the patient voice and be culturally responsive to the needs of First Nations, Inuit and MÃ©tis communities.
