We are building and civil engineering contractors specialising in the structural repair and maintenance sectors of the construction industry. The business comprises two main areas: •Civil Engineering which involves structural repairs to bridges, culverts, tunnels, river defences etc and •Building which involves structural repairs to multi-storey blocks, housing stock, industrial and commercial buildings etc. Here are some of the activities which we regularly undertake: •concrete repair, protection, strengthening, demolition and recasting •waterproofing (bridge decks, basements) •stone restoration, pointing, lime work, historical buildings •design and build •embankment stabilisation •culvert repairs and relining •industrial flooring What is of interest to many of our clients is not so much what we do, but how we do it. Castle Group has established a reputation for high quality and innovative civil engineering works, especially in bridge repairs. Our projects often take place in some of the more environmentally sensitive areas of Scotland, very often over or near water. The very essence of our expertise is sustainability, through repairing structures rather than complete replacement, and looking at problems from different angles.
