One of the largest performing arts centers in the nation, The Music Center, located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, serves more than 1.3 million people annually through performances by its four resident companies – LA Opera, the LA Phil, Center Theatre Group, and the Los Angeles Master Chorale – as well as performances by the much celebrated dance series Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center. The center is home to on-going community events, arts festivals, outdoor concerts, participatory arts activities and workshops, and educational programs. While the 22-acre campus boasts Grand Park and four major theaters – the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the Ahmanson Theatre, the Mark Taper Forum, and Walt Disney Concert Hall – The Music Center is far more than a collection of performance venues. It's a place where the people of Los Angeles come together to experience all of the performing arts. Year-around, night and day, there's always something going on at The Music Center.
