|| We are the gamers in the darkness, we are the watchers of TV... || The Nerd's Watch is a nerd culture news and review site, founded in August 2017. It features news and reviews of video games, television shows, movies and books as well as other 'nerd' subjects when relevant. It is a small news outlet run entirely by volunteers, giving a platform for new/student journalists and writers that are just starting out. The Nerd's Watch aims to help build portfolios while still being a fun publication to work and be a part of. The website also features a YouTube channel, which posts a variety of different types of videos related to nerd culture, be that Let's Play series, news rundowns or video reviews. The Nerd's Watch, with its name inspired by Game of Thrones' 'The Night's Watch', was created by games journalist Charlotte Mednick after she graduated from Southampton Solent University with a First Class Honours degree in Multimedia Journalism. She created the graphics, website and is currently the editor of the website as well as frequent contributor. Unfortunately, due to it being a small website, there is currently no official domain and the website is being hosted via. Wordpress until a domain can be obtained.
