Compass is a new service rig provider operating in Western Canada. Compass has 7 new double internally guyed service rigs and 2 single service rigs. All rigs have been fabricated by CARE Industries Ltd. to the highest industry standards and newly built since 2013. Compass is a member in good standing with the CAODC and is registered with Comply Works and ISN and has received it's COR from Enform. The rigs are all fully mobile service/work-over rig package model 450 series free standing. All rigs are internally guyed free standing 200,000lb double mast that meets API 4F 3rd Edition. Tri-drive meets all period road bans. The internally guyed free standing mast offers Compass a smaller foot print on location for our customers. Rigs equipped with a 385HP Detroit Series 60 engine and 4700 OFS Alison Transmission matched for optimum performance on medium to deeper well situations and gives the rig adequate power for tripping heavier strings of pipe. The rigs come equipped with a rugged 40" Kobelt auxiliary disc brake which lowers carrier weight for spring weight compliance and adds a significant braking performance to the Care built 42-10 draw-works in well operations. All of our rigs offer large working floors, which allows for more room for extra equipment needed to run pipe, allows more working space and less congestion making a safer work area with less hazards. Equipment truck, pump truck and dog house fully equipped to handle on types of well conditions.
