Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC) is a not-for-profit company owned by the City of Edmonton, responsible for providing leadership to the economic growth strategy for Edmonton and the Edmonton Metropolitan Region. We focus our activities in pursuit of (1) accelerated inflow of new investment, visitors, conferences, major events, and talent; (2) a confident, authentic, image/brand that is well-marketed in target jurisdictions; (3) a competitive business environment for entrepreneurism, innovation, and business expansion; (4) resilient and diversified industry growth and employment opportunities; and (5) an informed, networked and engaged business and stakeholder community. Through the efforts of our four divisions, EEDC works alongside industry and stakeholders to ensure Edmonton and the Edmonton Metro Region consistently outperforms every major economic jurisdiction in North America over the next 20 years.
