As a private, not-for-profit community mental health center, we provide a comprehensive, innovative and accessible array of mental health, substance abuse. housing, educational and employment services to an average of 16,500 people annually, including 11,500 adults and 5000 children, allowing these individuals to be part of a stronger, healthier community. In July 2012, the Mental Health Center of Denver opened its new Recovery Center at 4455 E. 12th Ave. in Denver. In March 2013, the Recovery Center was awarded the highest Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Platinum Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), helping us fulfill our vision of being the greenest mental health facility in the country.
