With a mission to support and enrich the lives of people affected by cerebral palsy and other disabilities, the Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta (CPAA) is a leader in providing programs and services to persons with disabilities and their families. The CPAA provides individual and family support, computer skills, job readiness training and employment counseling, youth transition as well as recreation, sports and leisure activities for individuals of all ages. Furthermore, through programs such as adaptive arts, massage, horticulture therapy, as well as multi-sensory and music therapy rooms, individuals can receive therapeutic benefits while enhancing their quality of life. The CPAA also provides financial assistance through our funding request program which assists with the extraordinary costs of living with a disability. At the CPAA, we are dedicated to creating a life without limits and a world full of endless possibilities for people with disabilities. We have a very clear vision of a fully accessible world, where all people have the opportunity to maximize their ability and not be defined by a disability. Every day, CPAA works towards this goal and implements initiatives that bring us closer to this vision. We ensure that our members are valued, respected, and treated with dignity. Together with the support of our community, we are working towards making this vision a reality.
