Our fleet of 128 trains operate 956 daily services across 1,009 routes miles and handle around 88,000 passenger journeys each day and 30.5 million passenger journeys per year. We also operate 247 stations throughout Wales and England, 55 of which are staffed, and connect with three major international airports and three international ferry ports. We have developed strong relationships with customers, transport bodies and tendering authorities alike. We work closely with the Welsh Government to deliver crucial rail elements of its National Transport Plan. As such, we have invested more than Â£30 million in infrastructure and fleet improvements as well as enhancing ticketing and information facilities for our customers. Success at a glance: Consistently the best regional and second best national â€˜right time' performing rail operator in the UK. Average annual passenger satisfaction in 2015 was 85.6%, up 6.6% from when the franchise started and 4.6% above the franchise benchmark. Arriva Trains Wales has improved in 31 out of the 32 different areas of measurement in the National Rail Passenger Survey over the past decade.
