The Office of Justice Programs (OJP) is a component of the U.S. Department of Justice. At OJP, our mission is to increase public safety and improve the fair administration of justice across America through innovative leadership and programs. We provide leadership to federal, state, local, and tribal justice systems, by disseminating state-of-the art knowledge and practices, and providing grants to implement crime fighting strategies. We work in partnership with the justice community to identify the most pressing crime-related challenges confronting the justice system and to provide information, training, coordination, and innovative strategies and approaches for addressing these challenges. We are a diverse workforce comprised of talented employees representing a wide array of professional disciplines. Our talent pool includes accountants, attorneys, grant/project managers, IT specialists, policy advisors, public affairs specialists, researchers, scientists, statisticians, writer/editors, and more. We recently completed a comprehensive workspace modernization initiative that has transformed the way we work. Check out our Life page and learn more about our culture and our new workspace.
