Since then it has toured on four continents in over 25 cities worldwide, receiving accolades and awards for both its English and French. The Joe's Pub performance will be a rare reunion of Armani and Papasian in their original roles. Sojourn at Ararat was Pick of the Week in LA Weekly and received eight Drama Logue Critics' Awards in 1988 and 1989 in addition to accolades in The Boston Globe, Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly, to name a few. It also received multiple awards in Armenia in 1991. The performance at Joe's Pub will be the first time it is seen in New York.
