Providing Multicultural Multilingual European Education. Currently a primary Free School, it will continue to grow into a secondary school in September 2017. The European Schools are official educational establishments controlled jointly by the governments of the Member States of the European Union. The European Schools' programme was devised in 1953 when the first school opened in Luxembourg. Currently there are 22 schools spread throughout the European Union that follow the programme. Eight of these schools are part of the expanding group of Accredited European Schools. These are national schools following the European Schools curriculum. Our school is an accredited European School able to offer the European Baccalaureate and to have access to a wide European network of teaching and learning.
