ALSAC exists solely to raise and provide the funds necessary to operate and maintain St. Jude. Unlike any other hospital, the majority of funding for St. Jude comes from individual contributions. ALSAC's full-time staff coordinates the fundraising activities of the more than 1 million volunteers and 9 million active donors who support the hospital each year.
