The College offers more than 100 transfer and career programs leading to associate's degrees, certificates, and diplomas, as well as leadership and technical training for hundreds of companies and not-for-profit organizations.
The College has campuses in Bethlehem and Monroe County and also offers classes online and at employers' worksites. More than 30,000 people take credit and non-credit courses at Northampton each year.
Among the College's distinguished graduates are Carol Guzy, a photojournalist who has won four Pulitzer Prizes, Roger Ross Williams, whose documentary on a remarkable young singer from Zimbabwe garnered an Oscar in 2010, and the CEOs of Just Born Candies and C. F. Martin & Company.
In recent years two of the College's faculty members have been named Pennsylvania Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for Excellence in Teaching and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
In March of 2013 Northampton was ranked as the top workplace among large employers in the Lehigh Valley based on results of employee surveys conducted by the national research firm WorkplaceDynamics.
