Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) was founded on 16th January 2002, in partnership with the University of Westminster (London) and the UMID Foundation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. WIUT was the first Internationally Accredited institution in Central Asia. The objective of WIUT is to provide internationally recognized Higher Education degrees at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, all validated by the University of Westminster. WIUT has further developed its capacity by providing professional courses and expanding its research outputs.
