Where will life take you? We invite you to begin your journey here at DSU—your passport to life. DSU has a long and proud history as one of America's Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), yet offers an education that blends those long-standing traditions with a growing community that values diversity. Founded in 1891, DSU embraces its heritage as one of the country's first land-grant educational institutions, rooted in agriculture and education. Our current population includes a 67 percent African-American enrollment and an increasing number of Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian and international students. With a focus on cutting-edge research, technology and business, we are at the vanguard of the region's higher education community. We offer 42 undergraduate degree options, 15 master's degree programs and five doctoral degree programs. Our programs are available across three different campuses in Dover, Wilmington and Georgetown, with many courses available online. Our new DSU Wilmington campus, conveniently located on Kirkwood Highway near the heart of the state's business ecosystem, is home to five in-demand master's programs. Follow us and stay informed about innovative research, student and alumni stories, accomplishments and updates from our industry-leading faculty.
